• The non-porous texture means it has a ‘super smooth’ synthetic feel to it and can be cleaned easily.
• Silicone is more expensive than TPE.  
• Although smoother, silicone is generally harder to the touch and less flexible than TPE.
• Silicone can become brittle and prone to tearing. It can withstand a lot of weight, but fragile areas can be torn if proper care is not taken.
