Introducing The Starpery Ballet Skeleton (Aka “Interaction Optimized”) Skeleton
Core Upgrade Highlights - 7 Major Breakthroughs From Starpery
Ankles as earrings position fans - get ready!
1. 0° Hip Joint Design
The upgraded hip structure allows the thighs to sit naturally flush against the abdomen, dramatically improving comfort and realism. Movement is smooth and intuitive, making pose changes easier, more fluid, and far more natural than traditional designs.

2. 180° Spine Rotation
The waist joint now supports a wider rotational range with exceptionally smooth, non-sticky motion. This allows the body to form a graceful, lifelike “S” curve, enhancing posture realism and expanding expressive posing possibilities.

3. 360° Precision Neck Ball Joint
Similar to the Zelex ball joint skeleton, the new Starpery skeleton combines the ball jointed neck with gear skeleton joints - two great techs meeting at last! Manufactured from high-temperature resistant carbon steel (tested up to 1400 °C) and produced using micron-level precision engineering, this joint has undergone thousands of durability tests to ensure long-term stability without loosening or cracking. The head can rest naturally toward the shoulders, enabling deeply human, intimate positioning and expressive interaction.
4. New Articulated Finger Bone Structure
The thumb can now adduct naturally toward the palm, restoring realistic hand mechanics. This allows for more delicate gestures, accurate grasping, and a level of hand expressiveness previously unseen at this level.

5. Forearm Rotation with Wrist-Twist Prevention
An optimized linkage system ensures the wrist remains correctly aligned during forearm rotation. With a smooth 180° left-right rotation range, movements feel natural and strain-free, allowing precise and intimate hand-to-hand positioning without distortion.

6. Ballet-Grade Foot Joint
The feet support 90° lateral torsion as well as forward and backward flexion. The sole can bend into a soft concave arc, enhancing both visual realism and responsive positioning. Even subtle contact produces natural, lifelike reactions.

7. Fully Articulated Phalange Bones
All finger knuckles are now independently movable, dramatically expanding the range of possible hand poses. This upgrade delivers a noticeable leap in realism, expressiveness, and overall interaction quality.

The hand on the left is the latest one, it is the same design featured in all Lushdoll silicone models, and the Irontech Oriental series (their best of the best models), as well as Zelex V2 Inspiration upgrade - so this is the current best in hand skeleton design.

Why Starpery’s Geared Skeleton Matters
Starpery was one of the first manufacturers to adopt an almost fully geared skeleton system - a major advancement over traditional welded joint designs. Conventional skeletons rely on U-brackets, bolts, and welded nuts, where weld failure over time can cause joints to loosen, often forcing invasive repairs.
In contrast, Starpery’s geared joints use precision-cut interlocking teeth to distribute load evenly and maintain long-term structural integrity. The new Interaction Optimized Skeleton represents a further refinement of this system, delivering smoother motion, greater durability, and a significantly reduced risk of joint failure - setting a new benchmark for reliability and realism in the market.
